Invitation to attend the 15th AAGL International Meeting on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in affiliation with the XIV Congresso Nazionale SEGi: Special Edition

We are proud to announce the 15th AAGL International Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in affiliation with SEGi to be held in Florence, Italy from May 8 to May 11, 2019.

SEGi, the Italian Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy, will hold a special edition of its 2019 Annual Meeting in partnership with the AAGL. The “Surgical Renaissance in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Worldwide Congress”— or “WOW”—will be an unprecedented event in its field.

Florence is considered one of the most charming cities on the planet, rich with history and amazing international cultural events all year round. We expect to have a tremendous number of physicians from all over the world interested in attending our event. Our vision is to present a congress that promises to provide the best from our past, as well as the exciting technology of our future. Unique opportunities will include the use of the same fifteenth century surgical suites that Leonardo da Vinci used to dissect the human body.

We are working hard to offer an exceptional program that covers the latest information on the many aspects of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) and we are excited to announce that we shall have the most outstanding speakers and renowned surgeons from around the world who will share and discuss their latest achievements in research and techniques.
This will be a three-day event packed with a very busy schedule that will include live surgery, a laparoscopic keynote dissection on cadaver from the Leonardo da Vinci anatomical theatre, keynote lectures, satellite symposia, and wide space for free communications.
Ample time will be given to discussions to allow in-depth interactions with the audience.

We are also happy to offer the opportunity to attend Pre-Congress courses which will be held in Pisa and Siena on May 7 and in Florence on May 8 and will focus on skills and modern techniques in MIGS, Surgical Anatomy and Diagnostic Ultrasound.

With major emphasis on the most relevant and cutting-edge science and innovation in the field of MIGS, the scientific agenda will specifically cover the following main topics:

  • Surgical Anatomy
  • Endometriosis
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Laser Surgery in Gynecology
  • Minimally Invasive Surgery for Gynecologic Cancer
  • Pelvic Floor Surgery
  • Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery
  • Vaginal Access in Minimally Invasive Surgery
